You wanna really mess with Anet? Get 500 people running SV/AV and just to be safe get another 500 people running Prot Bond. Might be enough to change Anet's bugfix policy.

well I tried this and it didn't crash my client, but I didn't live longer than 6 seconds either. full knight's armor, sup absorb, riddle of steel inscrip on the shield. Nada.

I had the same problem. Physical resistance doesn't help, as my dolyak's gives +40 already.

It very well may be your texmod...it does filter the display through another program so it may be texmod freezing instead of GW, and it affects your whole computer.

Oh and I should give my comp specs:

amd athlon 64 3400+
1gb corsair RAM
ATI X700XT video card

as you can see it's far from a blazing system.

Seems as though all the high-spec systems are crashing. You say that with all the "eye-candy" on it's 50 FPS.
Maybe with all the eye candy off it won't crash :S.

thats wierd that it would just crash. back before the nerfed spirit bonding you could fill the entire screen with -3's, heals, and damages with no problems at all.

I propose we submit a bug report by loading Protective Bond, Sympathetic Visage, and Ancestor's Visage all on the same bar, and synch crash the server. Drag along a hero with Greater Conflagaration and run Mantra of Flame+both bonds for energy, or something.

edit: I'm not advocating this, actually, just sarcasm. Really, I just hope they can fix the problem without hitting SV/AV again.

I think client close for over use of the internet connection between client and server in a very little space of time, so if your computer is good or bad it doesn't matter. I don't mean high bandwidth usage, I mean too many packets between client and server trying to synchronize what you are doing with server. (it's a little hard for me explain this in english, well, I tried)

so your saying its not the graphics but more the data transfer, so faster interent = less chance of crash?
